Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC39A13 RNA is linked to patient survival in 30 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SLC39A13 data layer compared with 6 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher SLC39A13 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC39A13 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and LUAD show a favorable association.

MESO, LUSC, and LIHC are the cancer types where SLC39A13 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
