Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC39A11 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC39A11 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher SLC39A11 Mutation is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC39A11 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC and STAD are the cancer types where SLC39A11 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
