Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC37A4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC37A4 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher SLC37A4 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC37A4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and STAD show a favorable association.
LUAD, SKCM, and UCEC are the cancer types where SLC37A4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
