Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC37A3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC37A3 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher SLC37A3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC37A3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
COAD and UCEC are the cancer types where SLC37A3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
