Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC37A3 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC37A3 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher SLC37A3 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC37A3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CCRCC, LUAD, and LSCC are the cancer types where SLC37A3 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
