Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC35F5 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC35F5 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher SLC35F5 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC35F5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and GBM show a favorable association.
LUAD, PDAC, and UCEC are the cancer types where SLC35F5 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
