Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC35F2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC35F2 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher SLC35F2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC35F2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BLCA, SCLC, and DLBC are the cancer types where SLC35F2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
