Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC35E4 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC35E4 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher SLC35E4 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC35E4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM and PDAC show a favorable association.

LSCC, GBM, and PDAC are the cancer types where SLC35E4 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
