Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC35E1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 31 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SLC35E1 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher SLC35E1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC35E1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and UCS show a favorable association.

BLCA, ACC, and KIRC are the cancer types where SLC35E1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
