Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC35E1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC35E1 data layer compared with 31 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher SLC35E1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC35E1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC, LIHC, and LUAD are the cancer types where SLC35E1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
