Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC35D3 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC35D3 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher SLC35D3 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC35D3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC and LUAD are the cancer types where SLC35D3 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
