Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC35B4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC35B4 data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher SLC35B4 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC35B4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
KICH, HNSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where SLC35B4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
