Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC35B3 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC35B3 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher SLC35B3 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC35B3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC show a favorable association.

HNSC, CCRCC, and GBM are the cancer types where SLC35B3 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
