Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC34A3 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC34A3 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher SLC34A3 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC34A3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and LUAD show a favorable association.

LSCC, GBM, and PDAC are the cancer types where SLC34A3 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
