Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC30A9 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC30A9 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher SLC30A9 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC30A9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and GBM show a favorable association.

COAD, LSCC, and GBM are the cancer types where SLC30A9 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
