Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC30A4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC30A4 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher SLC30A4 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC30A4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC, BLCA, and SKCM are the cancer types where SLC30A4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
