Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC2A11 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC2A11 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher SLC2A11 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC2A11 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC show a favorable association.
CCRCC are the cancer types where SLC2A11 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
