Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC29A3 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SLC29A3 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status and 3 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher SLC29A3 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC29A3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and DLBC show a favorable association.

LIHC, SKCM, and DLBC are the cancer types where SLC29A3 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
