Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC29A3 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC29A3 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher SLC29A3 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC29A3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC show a favorable association.
CCRCC, LUAD, and PDAC are the cancer types where SLC29A3 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
