Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC29A1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SLC29A1 data layer compared with 8 for mutation status and 2 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine carcinosarcoma (UCS), where higher SLC29A1 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC29A1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and ACC show a favorable association.

UCS, MESO, and KIRP are the cancer types where SLC29A1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
