Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC27A6 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC27A6 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher SLC27A6 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC27A6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
UCEC and HNSC are the cancer types where SLC27A6 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
