Across TCGA patient cohorts, SLC26A4 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 190 significant associations in total. LUAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SLC26A4-associated genes across cancer lineages are SNPH, ADAP1, and NUFIP2. Each is linked with SLC26A4 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SLC26A4-to-partner and partner-to-SLC26A4 results are reported.
