Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC25A6 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC25A6 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher SLC25A6 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC25A6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KICH, UCEC, and LGG are the cancer types where SLC25A6 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
