Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC25A46 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC25A46 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher SLC25A46 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC25A46 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LIHC, ESCA, and UCEC are the cancer types where SLC25A46 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
