Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC25A4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC25A4 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher SLC25A4 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC25A4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM, STAD, and COAD are the cancer types where SLC25A4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
