Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC25A33 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC25A33 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher SLC25A33 mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC25A33 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC and LUAD show a favorable association.

LSCC, LUAD, and GBM are the cancer types where SLC25A33 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
