Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC25A32 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 13 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of SLC25A32’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where SLC25A32 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types SLC25A32 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA and KICH show the opposite, repressed pattern.

HNSC, COAD, and STAD are the cancer types where SLC25A32 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
