Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC25A3 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC25A3 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher SLC25A3 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC25A3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC and GBM show a favorable association.

PDAC, LSCC, and CCRCC are the cancer types where SLC25A3 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
