Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC25A29 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC25A29 data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher SLC25A29 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC25A29 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and HNSC show a favorable association.
CCRCC and HNSC are the cancer types where SLC25A29 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
