Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC25A22 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC25A22 data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher SLC25A22 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC25A22 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, COAD, and LIHC are the cancer types where SLC25A22 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
