Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC25A13 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC25A13 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher SLC25A13 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC25A13 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
KIRC, LUSC, and LIHC are the cancer types where SLC25A13 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
