Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC22A6 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC22A6 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher SLC22A6 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC22A6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, BRCA, and LGG are the cancer types where SLC22A6 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
