Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC22A5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC22A5 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher SLC22A5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC22A5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

UVM, PCPG, and LIHC are the cancer types where SLC22A5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
