Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC22A24 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC22A24 data layer compared with 12 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher SLC22A24 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC22A24 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BLCA, UCEC, and PRAD are the cancer types where SLC22A24 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
