Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC22A18 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC22A18 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher SLC22A18 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC22A18 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

COAD and GBM are the cancer types where SLC22A18 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
