Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC22A16 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC22A16 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher SLC22A16 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC22A16 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

MESO, PAAD, and BRCA are the cancer types where SLC22A16 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
