Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC20A2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC20A2 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher SLC20A2 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC20A2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, KICH, and HNSC are the cancer types where SLC20A2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
