Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC1A7 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC1A7 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher SLC1A7 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC1A7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and UCEC show a favorable association.

KICH, SKCM, and LGG are the cancer types where SLC1A7 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
