Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC1A2-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 14 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SLC1A2-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher SLC1A2-AS1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC1A2-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD and OV show a favorable association.

KICH, KIRP, and STAD are the cancer types where SLC1A2-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
