Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC19A2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC19A2 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in sarcoma (SARC), where higher SLC19A2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC19A2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
SARC, LUSC, and BLCA are the cancer types where SLC19A2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
