Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC18B1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC18B1 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher SLC18B1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC18B1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM and LSCC show a favorable association.

COAD, OV, and UCEC are the cancer types where SLC18B1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
