Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC16A3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC16A3 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher SLC16A3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC16A3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
UCEC are the cancer types where SLC16A3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
