Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC16A13 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC16A13 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher SLC16A13 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC16A13 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
STAD, LUAD, and KICH are the cancer types where SLC16A13 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
