Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC15A2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 17 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SLC15A2 data layer compared with 11 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher SLC15A2 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC15A2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and SKCM show a favorable association.

LUAD, SKCM, and LGG are the cancer types where SLC15A2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
