Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC13A4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC13A4 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher SLC13A4 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC13A4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

MESO, ESCA, and LIHC are the cancer types where SLC13A4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
