Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC13A3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC13A3 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in brain lower grade glioma (LGG), where higher SLC13A3 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC13A3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LGG, BLCA, and PRAD are the cancer types where SLC13A3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
