Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC13A2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC13A2 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher SLC13A2 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC13A2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
UCEC, STAD, and READ are the cancer types where SLC13A2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
