Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC12A9 RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SLC12A9 data layer compared with 11 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher SLC12A9 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC12A9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and STAD show a favorable association.

UVM, HNSC, and OV are the cancer types where SLC12A9 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
