Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC12A8 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC12A8 data layer compared with 31 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cholangiocarcinoma (CHOL), where higher SLC12A8 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC12A8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CHOL are the cancer types where SLC12A8 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
