Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC12A2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC12A2 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 10 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher SLC12A2 mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC12A2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC and CCRCC show a favorable association.
PDAC, CCRCC, and LUAD are the cancer types where SLC12A2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
